Integrative hypnotherapy informed by neuroscience, CBT and NLP, supporting nervous system regulation and change

My approach

My work is rooted in compassion, empathy and understanding. Having experienced trauma from a young age, I have a deep appreciation for how profoundly early experiences can shape the way we think, feel and respond to the world around us.

I believe that when we begin to understand and work with the mind rather than against it, it opens the door to moving through fears, anxieties and anything else that may be holding us back. Mastery of the mind is not about control, but about awareness, safety and choice.

Alongside my clinical training, I have worked behind the scenes within high-pressure environments, including major film productions such as F1 and Mission: Impossible, witnessing first-hand the intense cognitive, emotional and physical demands placed on individuals performing at the highest level. This experience has given me a deep understanding of performance pressure, nervous system overload and the importance of mental regulation under stress.

My clinical experience also includes working with patients through Mayo Clinic oncology services in Florida, as well as supporting women navigating cancer diagnoses in both the UAE and the Isle of Man. These settings have reinforced the same truth I see across all areas of my work: when the nervous system feels safe, the mind becomes more resilient, adaptive and capable of healing.

My hypnotherapeutic approach is integrative and structured, combining principles of neuroscience with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). Alongside this, I work holistically to support nervous system regulation helping the body and mind settle, reset and feel safe enough for meaningful change to occur.

By addressing both the conscious and subconscious mind, my aim is to help clients feel calmer, clearer and more empowered, creating the conditions for sustainable progress whether they are navigating high-performance demands, health challenges, or internal blocks that have been holding them back.

“WE SUFFER MORE IN OUR IMAGINATION THAN WE DO IN REALITY”

SENECA

I met Tanya about a year after I completed chemotherapy. I was 31 when I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Before the diagnosis, I was the picture of health. I lost my left breast to a mastectomy in January 2022.

Tanya changed my life. I was so unhappy with my body, and I had such a fear of reoccurrence. Tanya helped me accept my post-cancer body and got rid of the fear. I finally felt like I could just live without fear of judgement, without fear of cancer, and just be me.

Recently, I found out I was pregnant, which is a total miracle as I was told my reproductive system did not survive the chemo and radiation. When we dated the pregnancy to work out how far along I was, it lined up to be exactly after I had my session with Tanya and started listening to my recording!

I feel so blessed to have met her, and I would recommend Tanya over and over again to anyone who is dealing with cancer — patient, caregiver, or spouse. Cancer is a hard road. Recovering after cancer is just as tough, and people like Tanya make it so much easier.
